At General Assembly tonight David Graves preached a great message reminding us of God’s heart for the lost. He references the Book of Luke where Jesus is talks about the lost sheep, the lost coin and the lost son. The heart of the Father is for those who are lost. Jesus told Zaccheus that he MUST come over to his house and eat with him. There was a sense of urgency to this request. He just had to get with him and his crew. His heart is to “seek and save” that who is lost. We must go to the people and build relationships with those who are from from God. We can’t expect them to come into the doors of the church. We have to go out into the marketplace and bridge relationships with non-churched people. May God give us more of a burden for those who don’t look like us or act like us. My prayer is that we will get out of our comfort zone and do things that show a genuine love for others.
